burning oil
your fmaxurbo is leaking???? ow old is it and how many miles on it? hm... just concern.. i always thought this brand is ver reliable for a long period of time.....
the car does produce only very mild smoke at idle. I can smell the smoke as oil smoke while I am driving sometimes since it leaks past the silly slip joint between the dumptube and downpipe. when the car is at rest and the throttle is hit and let go, it lets off a puff of blue oil smoke past this joint under the hood and out the exhaust. My exhaust pipe also slowly builds up a nice dark black greasy residue.
Thats why I am thinking a leaky turbo seal on the turbine side since the intake piping is oil free. If its mild and not worsening I thought maybe let it go for a while but as long as turbonetics warranties these for a year against defects I should get it fixed while its new so as not to run into a hassle later trying to stake my claim to a faulty seal!

YOU BETTER MAKE SURE THAT YOU DON'T RUN LOW ON OIL. I was leaking and I ran out of oil in two days. Now I got no car because there was a hole in the engine block. Don't waiat for the hassle because if your motor blows, it will be a bigger hassle than you want to put up with.
