Default building a ls vtec or ls vtec r help!

i have a ls bottom that has been resleeved by aebs and i need to know since im gonna have the whole head worked. should i use a Gsr head or a type r head?

any can recommend me a good place for p&p?

I'm building a LS/VTEC Turbo right now, in the same dilemma. GSR head creates more compression (slightly). Probably not the best choice if you going turbo. An ITR head will yeild less compression, it's factory ported, and the cams are great! They are pricey, so it is in my best interest to get a b16(cheaper than a GSR or ITR head)head and send it to portflow have them work it over. Hope some of that helps!

Send it to portflow to get a p&p. If both heads are gonna be built, it won't make much difference. Cams in the type r will be slightly better.
