Default LS/VTEC

I have a 1996 4 door integra. If i wanted to go ls/vtec would it be better for me to go with the gsr head or a type r head. I am also looking to add on a drag three kit before too much longer. Any suggestions on which head or even which turbo would be nice.

if you're goin turbo soon, stick to the stock LS block.

you would want to use a b16 head if going lsvtec

if u want to do ls vtec and still have turbo later , between the two heads the type r head has lower compression than the gsr head and would be better - but if u want to boost alot (nething over 10) u wanna go with a lower compression ratio so it wont detonate - something like an ls head - u can spend that money that u want to spend on a vtec head and just get ur head redone with valve job etc.

build your block and sleeve it for more boost and run any head you want reasearch a little then decide.. b/c if you rebuilt your lower end then you can run lower comp pistons and then if you feel or just find a gsr head cheaper then it won't matter as much !

you should just save the money ur planning on investing in the lsvtec and resleeve ur block, get pistons and rods..
but up to you.. i also think an lsvtec/turbo is very unique

i plan on getting the block built. i am looking at je pistons with eagle rods. i also am going to use darton sleeves. my plan is to bore out the pistons so that i'll have 9:1 compression...does that sound good???

vtec water pump, vtec oil pump, you can search and find all the info you need. http://hondaswap.com , also another good thing to look into is the golden eagle ls vtec conversion kit.
