VTEC killer cams with LS Head?

VTEC killer cams with LS Head?
Would this be a viable option since the LS doesn't have VTEC to begin with? As long as you upped the compression of course. The only thing I can think of is that the head won't flow enough? Any ideas of this setup?
Can I ask why?
