Checklist for engine rebuild to handle turbo
What are essential internals to upgrade to run boost on a completely stock engine.
So far I've come up with these parts for my engine rebuild (D16Z6):
Cam (aem ajustable)
Cam gear (skunk2 street)
Rods (eagle)
Pistons (not too sure what are good brands/will keep compression on reasonable levels for boosting)
What other parts are REALLY recomended for building an engine to handle boost, I plan on doing 6-10 PSI. What are some parts that aren't as needed as rods/pistons, but suggested for an engine rebuild.

well what are you r goals and use for teh car...lets start with that so we can help. On a single cam engine you don't needanything you listed to do 6-10 PSI.

The car is going to be a daily driver, but I want it to be a mean *** daily driver. I want it to be reliable, but still get to have fun on the street.

A simple bolt on kit would probably suit your needs.. if you are worried about reliability get engine management and take it to a good tuner..
or you could go for a B-series swap
