build my b18c5.
heres what i got. bone stock type R, 50trim on 6psi, tuned to 7500rpm at 12:1 1 a/f for safety, its a DD...
made 275/200 on a mustang dyno. numbers are accurate (numbers suck.) because multiple cars my friend has tuned has been within a tenth of predicted, 1/4 mile.
the car is real fast 8th mile, hooks right up and pulls good, but im trying to build a 1/4mile runner.
use my block? get any other b series block?
whats the difference in cranks??
looking for somewhere in the 8-9:1 comp ratio, big turbo, e85, forged internals and trying for low 11's, 10's someday.
just simply, need build suggestions. i know nothing about hondas. lol
thanks,
matt

Re: build my b18c5.
okay yea that would "work" but, im not into just throwing a bunch of expensive parts into an engine and calling it good. i have a type R, so why would i care what works with an LS motor? my bone stock motor made 60 more hp on the dyno, on 1/2 the boost that my buddy's car made in his stock ls (same dyno, same tuner, him). i want to find good compatable internals that will flow best and make the best power with my setup... for example..
stock size HG, dish pistons, 8.5CR
big HG, flat tops, 9.5CR
stock HG, dish pistons, ??CR
big HG, dome pistons, ??CR
there are so many ways to go, i want testimonals of people who have done it, with THIS motor.
thanks,
matt

Re: build my b18c5.
okay, may as well have the moderators take the "new topic" button off the site, once its been said once no one has the ability to help someone out and type a sentence or two of their own experience for someone. lets all just re-read prior somewhat similair posts and scroll thru 15 pages of bullshit to get a speck of good info.
thanks for absolutly no help from everyone ive talked to here at honda-tech. **** you guys and **** this site.
please delete my account mods.

No, actually YOU need to learn how to stand on your own two feet instead of having mommy spoon feed you all your life. If you can't be bothered to simply "search" then we can't be bothered with you. It's not like someone has asked to you run a Marathon or something... If you not prepared to put the time in researching and trying to understand the big "picture" of what works , then you've got no hope...
