Since it's a DD I would sleeve it for piece of mind but I have a couple friends running 600whp+ on stock Kseries blocks. There's a guy on k20a his car made 740/490wtq and its beat on night and day and it's his daily he just made 822/550wtq on stock sleeves and it's been running hard for a year+ (and it's on eagle rods). Considering your budget I would drop 1k on sleeves in a heartbeat and get someone who knows what they're doing to assemble it. ERL, Golden Eagle etc.

Yep, I called Golden Eagle yesterday to get a quote..$910 for the sleeves and decking, $125 for final bore and hone (with pistons sent with it), and $85 for shipping, should have the money next month..Once again this is going to be a prolonged build so there is no rush..lots of time for decisions..just wanna get a decent plan down before I start buying stuff.

Now the question of 83mm or 84mm sleeves?

And pistons should I go with the JE with Crower rod combo I posted? Or CP, or Wiseco..etc.?

Ill need to figure out the pistons before I can send the block out to GE so this would be my #1 step.

Thanks a bunch guys!

Mods please delete...im going to make a new thread with a different title for suggestions because the boring v. sleeving title may become misleading. Thanks!
