Default boosting too high

ss auto external wastegate, i can't limit the boost. It just keeps going pass 10 psi in my h22. I have a manual boost controller. Is the MBC faulty or the wastegate? or my vacuum routing?? the wastegate to manifold flange is leaking a bit.

Do you have the hoses backwards on the wastegate?

do this, eliminate the controller, hook the wastegate bottom port directly up to the boost signal. if it is the correct spring, it should that 7 or 8 psi depending on what it is.

is the MBC pressure source/outlet hooked up backwards? if it is you'll get unlimited boost.
