Default Boosting issues.

I installed my turbo wednesday and just fixed my dp and crap today. the car pulls really hard at 10psi and runs great. I installed a btm last night and now I am noticing my boost is hitting 15 psi!! I am running the wastegate (deltagate) and btm off the brake booster and boost gauge and bov of the fpr. I am running an safc and new btm and 440 DSM's. I have a .50 trim T3 (brand new) , custom manifold (wastegate port mounted right on top of the "log" ) custom 2.5" charge pipes and no intercooler yet. 2.5" dp and bosch bov. Am I safe boosting to 15psi? somehow I doubt it so what should I do?

also, what setup should I have engine wise to run 15psi daily ?

EDIT: I am not throwing any codes when hitting 15psi!

I am guessing that you are getting boost spikes off of that delta gate. Is the motor stock?

What kind of spring does the deltagate have. I know I have one that is adjustable from 9 to 15psi.

My motor is stock, fresh rebuild. I have the 9-12 lb spring in my deltagate.

How can you tell what kind of spring you have in the deltagate and how do you adjust it? I am hearing two things, tighten it and you have more boost and also, tighten it and you have less boost!!! Which is true

take the spring out and look what color it is. the black spring is 9-12 and the green is 3-6 or something like that. tighting will increase boost.

oh, I installed a new T from the local parts store for my BTM. It was one of thoes T's that have the 3 levels of diameter on each leg. I didn't cut off the smaller openings and make the hole bigger for my bigger wastegate hose so the wastegate was basically runnning unlimited boost cause it wasn't getting enough pressure through to actuate it. I cut the small tips off and vola! 10psi
