Great build. Nice to see somebody actually use a sensible setup...

Thermal RD 3" or Kteller 3" piping with a vibrant streetpower muffler always get my votes. Not to mention the streetpower stealth mufflers are flatblack which would match the flat black fmic.

I plan on going turbo in the probably not to close future(lol), when i do i plan on switching to the mega power RR after having my R for almost 2 years now.

When my money is right i plan on using that same turbo, everything i hear about it makes me want it more, i've dug up as many graphs as i can on it and love everything i see(mostly evo graphs not many hondas graphs out there with that turbo). Planning on going for 500Whp as a HP goal, then i plan on turning down the boost and running boost by gear with my S300 to set it up proper for street traction. I'm thinking itll prob sit around 400-450ish all said and done 4th gear, all depends on traction.

After reading this thread its making me a little unsure about my cam decision. I recently purchased a set of Sk2 Pro1's off a forum member for a very good price(BNIB). Maybe to big for my set-up? I plan on running 84mm with mid to high 9's compression. It going to be a slow process i dont make that much money so im saving everything i can, but my plan is....Buy all head components (already have cams) Sk2 pro springs/retainers,bronze guides, send out 2 PnP and valve job and freshin it up. Run the head on my stock GSR block, until funds come in to build the block, save to build block and send it out, then reassemble with my built head, run that N/a still to break it in and to continue to save money for the turbo kit. Then finally one day throw the kit on.

sorry for the wall of text, bored at work haha....

But build looks great and cant wait to see your graph, much luck to you.

p.s for the Sk2 exhausts. (personal opinion)
You never stated your turbocharger. That may help determine whether or not you have the correct camshafts or not.

I got a 3" "Turbo" ebay exhaust for my car last year. I cut the huge fart can it came with off and put on a 3" Magnaflow muffler on it. Sounds nice and quiet, good sounding. I love it

Gotcha. Well, it could be ok with those cams, but more than likely they are a bit too large. Its to a point of "we'll see."

I bought the one I posted photos of, it arrived yesterday. I was pretty sure we had ended the exhaust discussion with you being sorry for my car.

USDM R trans and CC stage 4 disc with and exedy PP.

I got the exhaust on today, the quality and fit are as good as I expected reasonably quiet.

Leaving the garage I had a very very scarry incident where the car completely died...... Had to pull off the road. Lost voltage to the ECU.... Solid CEL no fuel pump or radiator fan. Started looking for problems around the ecu and it came back when I moved the harness, moved to looking under the hood and grabbed the harness near the main ground on the thermo housing (which is tight) and it came back to life an has been fine since...

That's possible, I ordered a new one immediately because it does have some splices. It may also be coming from the fuse box, any time I go through an automatic car wash it acts up, and this has even happened with a different engine harness.

Cams showed up yesterday.

Unfortunately they don't match the profiles on the website so I'm trying to send them back.

Did you not call the company you bought them from to first confirm? Perhaps they simply enclosed the wrong sheet?

I can't say for sure just yet. It's great on 5psi... May run out of gear up top though. I have plans to run a 4.0 final or a gsr 4th / ls 5th in the future though.

whelp. Website or not. if the sheet that's enclosed is not the same as the site, one of them could be wrong. Call and confirm before keeping or sending them back.. what is it with people and a phone call?

I swear, if websites went down, people act like armaggedon would be upon us..

Ok.... I appreciate your assistance Shodan, but there is a point that it becomes you second guessing my every step. I'm a big boy and have likely been doing this as long or longer than you. I'm not at all trying to be negative toward you but "I got this"
