There's a graph for a 5858 .82 in the b16 turbo thread. He didn't get to finish his tune though due to boost creep. Can't wait to see how this build ends up.

99pct sure they sent you the wrong spec sheet... there are only two lift/duration figures not 4. No listing on that sheet for vtec lobes.

^^ cam cards are almost always for vtec lobes. otherwise you would have 3 specs for each cam.

I finally got someone at crower who could help ke in the phone today, seems the error was theirs and the cams will be returned for a refund.

I've been in contact with the guys at GSC and will likely be picking a set of their cams up when I get my refund from crower. I'm looking to hit 400 on the 7th on the skunk cams and manifold without methanol. After getting more familiar with the car I'm looking to change the cams and manifold and see what I can make with the addition of the parts and methanol injection.

I got three figures on my comp cam spec sheet I'm pretty sure. It would strike me as odd for them not to tell you what some of the lobes are.

GSC is a cam supplier better known in the Supra/Subie/DSM world, specializing in turbocharged cars. I cant seem to find what I'm looking for anywhere that I have any confidence in, so I have been looking into them.

No exciting updates.....

Contacted crower an they agreed the mistake was theirs so the cams were returned.

Got some new digs

Will likely order some NT-01's to go with these or run my XS's until I save up for the new Enkei's I really wanted.

Found the appropriate AEM filter for the turbo in an EK (21-205)

Ordered a Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator and will likely start parting together a quiet exhaust, the one I currently have is decent but has issues fitting around my ASR sway bar, for $150 I can't complain much.

Still need to re-wire the fuel pump, seal up the bumper/IC interface and change my fluids and I'm good to go.

Oh and pull the mouse nest out I my heater box AGAIN.....

Very interested to see this final project i am glad that you are switching to the GSC cams with the 5858 i was interested in the 5857 and i already have pro1's after reading the thread on the gsc's, the gsc's seem the route to go with that turbo. So i am more then likly going to sell my brand new pro1's for a set of thous gsc badboys.

as i stated b4 much luck to you and your build....keep the updates coming!

I was just out testing out the EBC, had a pair of black R8's eyeing me up in the lot I was editing in so i gave them a good fireball and they went about their business. Not that I ready for anything just yet. I believe I have my maximum duty cycle too high and its kinda surging power (not surging turbo)

Dyno this weekend, SHOULD be ordering the cams as well this week.

Hey have you thought about the bc n/a cams? You could just dial out the overlap and they should work well...as for exhaust vibrant 3 inch sounds very nice on my friend's b16b with a 60 a/r t3/t4 turbo nice and deep...I'm in for your results because I wanna use the same turbo for my 84mm b16 setup. Good luck man

Funny, I dont remember seeing any of those at all. Nice to see you finally graduate to the 400+ club though. I assume 8400rpm isnt where you stopped? Look like the power is still climbing beyond that.

Please, take the nonsense elsewhere. Also, when you make a NA 250+ whp 1.8L motor maybe someone will remember you.

I really want to thank D-Rob for his skills and hospitality. Professionalism and personality all in one package, and only 24yrs old simply amazing what this kid has done.

You're way too kind, Dan.

The car definitely has more in it, too. The graph posted was where we left the car, and it logged 12psi on your MAP sensor, but about 13psi on my dyno's pressure sensor. The gate opens at around 10psi and works it's way up to 12-ish up top.

I spent a couple pulls trying to throw some solenoid duty into the midrange to level off the boost, but either my inability to 100% grasp exactly what ecTune does with their target boost table, or his PWM output itself being a tad hairy limited me to just some fixed duty pulls.

It did REALLY well considering you only were looking for 400whp.

Let me know when you're ready for 9,000+ RPM and 500+hp.

Thanks again for hanging out with us yesterday!
