alot of ppl like the gsr cams for the midrange, im not making enough power to really to really give any input but my torque is very consistent.

Man I wish you'd do the buddy club +3's just to see what they'd do, i've always been curious to see what kind of mid range they'd have under boost? But lol, I guess science doesn't lie, the duration is probably **** and the spec's probably are no good for a boost application.

A friend of mine made 300 hp stock block B16, a 57trim AFI kit, but it wasn't pressed hard and wasn't super impressive. I'll try to dig up the dyno sheet.

Yeah, I still have them. I would liked to have used them, the timing events are not ideal for forced induction. I bough them and wanted them to work for my supercharged setup but with 45 deg of overlap in Vtec seemed to be too much for the limited flow produced by the M62.

When do you think you'll be done. Really interested in how the turbo performs.

This belonged to a friend o mine, tuned at Hybrid Dynamics

This is the first I've seen the Dyno sheet.

This is the best I can provide right now, no wonder it didn't last.....

It was a AFI Street Ram Horn kit on a 10.8:1 B16
57 Trim Garrett
S2 Intake Manifold
3" exhaust
BuddyClub 3+
Supertech Springs

Yea... I don't think it was the cams fault. The tuner has never impressed much.

same but i think time attack and autocross is fun lol, i do go to drag sometimes too just for ***** cuz i have a strip really close to home. i just ask to get an idea of what kind of cam u would benefit from, theres a few threads i read about buddy club cams snapping, skunk2 as well, seems to me oem seems to hold up best and itr better for top end gsr better for midrange. i also read the pro1s were really good, for power and strength. i was debating doing a cam upgrade but after researching i found that for me the gsr cams are probably best anyways so i said screw it ill spend the money elsewhere. im sure u know all this already and im just rambling on now lol. is there a reason u dont want to use the pro1s or are u just curious about the bc3s?

Usually broken cams come from too tight of a timing belt.

For the past 4-5 years I have been a dedicated autocrosser, but ive been growing more tired of the disorganization and working more than racing.

I gave up on autocross back in 1998. I too was sick of the cone layouts in parking lots, lots of working, and little racing. I went to HPDE events, then Time Attack (novice) and haven't been happier.

I agree with your statement 100% I go to one auto-x a year that is held at my jobs parking lot, only because it's funds go towards charity..

Spool is wicked fast, sorry I don't have any spool RPM's I was too busy watching the road/AFR to notice. 0-12 PSI (straight off the gate) comes on fast.

I hope to get a little tuning in tomorrow.
