Boosted LS's
I made 220 whp and 200 tq @ 7psi on an untuned hondata. Never dyno'd at 11 psi where i ran my 12.7 thats in my sig.
I now have a fully built LS with exception of cams/gears. Trying to sell my hoindata and pickup an EMS before I tune. Right now the car breaks traction in 3rd gear at 6000 rpms from a sweeping low rpm to full throttle run.
Looking to make atleast 400 on pump gas (fingers crossed), and I built the motor to accept lots of boost and NO2--maybe in the future a direct port 2 stage setup.

To the original post, tuning and regular maintence will greatly determin the life of your engine. You can be like jason(St00pid) and tune the hell out of a stock engine and run 20psi or you can be like some many jack-noob's and blow your engine at 5psi.....tuning is key.
He he, i've got cams! You need some of those high-lift profiles like i've got dude.
Mine too...........at 8 psi
