Default Boosted LS, stock internals, question ?

I have finally turned to the darkside and running hard, this is my setup:

B18B1 longblock stock internals
Garrett straight T3
MSD BTM and plug wires
Retard set at 1.25/psi (stock timing adv.)
Blaster coil
Vortec FMU
HKS sequential BOV
Deltagate W/G
Get this ! Check valves from another car brand (I won't mention the name )
Stock Starion I/C
Stock fuel system

*TBI (To Be Installed) B&M command flo FPR
Currently using full stock fuel system
Waiting on Manual boost control to arrive

Just got all of the vaccum lines done and getting and accurate boost reading

The engine is running HARD at 13 psi with no detonation !

I know this is not wise on stock internals but what boost level are you guys running (safely) on a daily driver ? (Have heard up to 8psi)
I NEED input, this is my first turbo install, my friend has done a couple of others, but this is the first one on our own.

Cliff notes:

Turbo LS,
Mods listed,
Running 13 psi,
What boost are other boosted LS's running ?
Any recommendations ?!?!

Usually on a smaller turbo you can run higher than "normal" psi. I'd say to be safe, go down to 10psi and get everything done correctly. Then take it to a dyno, and there, you can up the boost gradually while tuning your fuel/timing.

1.25 deg of retard/psi seems a little excessive, at 13psi thats over 16 deg taken out. I'd bet that with maybe 0.25 deg/psi retard and 8-9 psi of boost would yield similar power without such insane fuel pressures (asking for trouble). I'd really say anything over about 8psi with an fmu is pushing luck - I know many ppl here run >10-12psi with the FMU, but I really wouldn't recommend it.

I'd turn the boost down some. 13psi x 12:1 fmu = 156psi + static fp = waaaay more fuel pressure than you wanna run . Even with a 10:1 fmu you'd be at 130psi over the static settings. could end up rupturing your diaphragm to your stock fpr, and we all know what happens when the diaphragm ruptures...

Hmmm... interesting.... no words on the stock internals ? I would think most would jump down my throat for that pressure....

P.S. I am putting on an in engine fuel pressure gauge and B&M FPR in a day or two, I am VERY interested to check my current fuel pressure...

I want to turn the boost down, but to where ? the motor does have 45K on it since new bearings were installed (80K) total and holding like a champ...
