Default ls/turbo

k i have a few ? on my ls/turbo,k i have heard that on a stock rebuild u can boost up to 20psi safe. what can i boost w/ a t3/t4 setup.everything is rebuilt to stock. i mean o miles.its goin to be a daily driver.so what is the most i can boost and be safe w/out blowin anythin or ****** **** up......tahnks

on a stock rebuild?


you saying with stock internals? cause it will only take as much as the previous internals from a stock rebuild...


id push 15 psi max. only tuned though. and not constantly.

It's alot more important to not talk about "how much PSI can I hold." Instead focus on HP because that is that starts to break things. You will easily break a motor at 5 PSI with 350whp stock vs. 250whp at 22psi (on the same engine). How much HP do you want to run? On stock internal LS I suggest no more then 280whp to be safe. You can do more, but make sure your tuner is qualified and you read A LOT more on HT.

kool thanks and its all stock int all new.

i am not tryin to get like 300+hp or anything on a stock motor(i wish ) i just heard that u can boost up to like 20psi safe

i will just prob boost around like 15psi or so w/bigger fuel pump and all the fuel **** and an safc tuned.....

safc sucks you cant control timing. run hondata or uberdata. i made 304whp on a stock ls motor on 14.5psi....psi dont blow motors bad tuning and horsepower does

its not all about hp cuz a shop by my house (AMS) tuned a rex wit a jdm b16 wit a T3/T4 setup and it ran 12s all day, i mean i hope to do that cuz my car is lighter then a rex h/f so i mean i hope to b in13s and a guy i know also has tha say setup in a eg and ran a 13.5 soo i hope for that

there are entirely too many variables in what your saying. you need to read more.
