boost on stock motor
is it ok to boost a stock motor.......?will it do damage and how much boost can i put on a 96 d16y7.....thanks......and btw im new to the forced induction thing

Yup..And not going past the hp limits on the stock motor..
Stock d-series are good too around 180whp-200whp... with a good tune..

And with proper tuning you can have a fast and reliable motor. Don't go cheap on the ems and always keep in mind that the motor is stock when beating on it
