Help done installing my turbo runs fine but
Hey guys,
I just finished installing my turbo on my Integra GSR 99 and everything seemed fine. I went to the muffler shop and had them weld my exhaust on. I had them weld my stock GSR exhaust on because cops around here are gay and im planning on getting a cutout in the future but anyways. My car runs fine when its cold I believe but later one when its fully warm It has no horsepower at low rpms like 1-3500 if im in second and at 3,000 rpms the car fully gassed will not go it’ll just be like im barely pressing the gas but once I get over 3500 rpms the turbo kicks in and I can feel it starting to go faster like a normal car. It is not tuned right now that’s what im saving for. It’s a drag kit on my car. If any of you can help me out thank you.

its your exhaust system choking the ***** off of your turbo. combine with what we like to call "turbolag" and thats why you have no power in the lower rpms

Do you have a boost gauge right after I got my set up done I drove it and blew off a boost pipe. also how much are you boosting? Also I have stock gsr exhaust and I mean its choking it off but not that much.

I agree with that some what, you are going to have a lot of lag on stock exhaust.. what are some more mods to your car? What turbo and ect.. sounds like exhaust to me.

its a combination of your stock exhaust and the fact that you are running a t3/t04(im assuming B)
Those turbos generally dont see spool until 3-3500 and fullbost at 4500ish. Its normal

wtf are you smoking? If you get hondata, you need injectors, then youd ditch the fmu and somone could tune your car

if you have stock injectors and an fmu, i wouldnt beat on it too often. Make sure you have a missing link so the ecu wont see boost or youre gonna have problems

Re: Help done installing my turbo runs fine but (Pitiful X)
about not tuning it, well you cannot tune anything with a FMU and a missing link... about the safty of it, one of my cars is a b18b1 civic with a small t3 turbo, missing link and 12:1 fmu running little over 10psi and it has about 20,000 miles on that setup, runs mint and i beat the hell out of it, on the highway is the only time it will lean out but when i was running like 8psi it never leaned out on me... I actually have it at about 15psi now and waitin to see how long before she burns some holes in stuff... dont worry if your running 8psi or less you should have no problems, although hondata or atleast urberdata is would be a much better route
