all in the tune... and depends on how much power you're looking to make, and what you would be happy with, like say, 350 ish ??? then no need to do the k-.. but monster build like 800 ish?? then do the k.. hahahah check this out tho... this is a k series 2.5 boosted... im thinking heavily built... on youtube goin against a ss camaro supercharged... and im like what the hell just happened?? lol i dont car how bad he is spinning his wheels, if you got that much money and you didnt invest in some good tires... then for 1. you're dumb or 2. you're **** aint that fast after all... alot of debate on wether he could grab or not, but come on..excuses excuses.. any who good luck.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tD7FuSEXJs

if ur looking to boost and u wanna stay cheap u can start with an las swap and boost it. if it was me i would grab either a gsr swap or a b16 swap and boost that. no point in building either ls or b20 vtec mtors and boosting not necessary at all. and boosting a k20 or k24 motor would put in into the tens of thousands of dollars. if ur gonna be building the motor for boost ide say ls b16 or gsr hands down.
