Im in a predicament on where the best boost source would be on the compressor housing. I have a hole already tapped for a nipple (red arrow) should i use that or should i drill and tap a spot for a nipple on the end of the outlet (green arrow). BTW im using this for my WG.

I commonly see the vacuum port where the green is pointed. Turbonetics and a few other turbo's have it there as well.

 

try them both and see which one works out better.

Shouldn't either of these locations only see boost? It seems like significant vacuum can only exist between the throttle plate and the intake valves. . .

 

The one you have tapped should be sufficient.
