What is this port on the compressor housing? is it for vac?
There is a air-port on the outside of my air-research compressor housing - it looks like it's turn able but i don't think turning it would close it - is this simply for boost dependent accessories? Is this the best place to connect your waste-gates and blowoff valves to? the compressor housing?
thanks

There is often a nipple on the compressor housing for the wastegate, this is on OEM style turbos from cars.
There are ups and downs to connecting it there. If you connect it there you will have some boost lost through the pipes and intercooler. If you tap a vac line near the IM, you can compensate for some of that.
