Default Boost psi w/ TT setup

hi, my friend had a 2004 nissan 350z and he bought the greddy tt kit.

he bolted the kit on, the e-manage was suppose to be "preprogrammed" by the manufactorer. no boost controller, just e manage, NO intercooler

How do we find out what his overall PSI was when he was running the car (engine blew after 3 days when he went WOT)? If there is no boost controller, then shouldnt the turbos be running of the WG spring? the wg spring is .8-1.0 which is about 11 PSI, and since there are 2 turbos, was his total ammount of boost 22 or 11 psi?

tia.

Whats there to explain? 11PSi is 11psi, dont matter how many turbos you have. They link together one way or another.
I know on Supras they do. the outlet pipes T together and they Y pipe Y's the exhaust together.
Simple theory

i beleive in the instructions for that kit it says like 12 times on every page to make sure you install a boost gauge before the initial test drive.

boost is measured at the manifold.....you can have 26 turbo's and 11psi will be 11psi when measured at the manifold.

how were the vaccume lines ran to the wastegate?

if u didn't run the vacuum line properly to the wastegate u'll be hitting more than 11psi. also, who boosts without a boost gauge?

Apparently 350Z owners who can afford a $35k car and a $8k turbo kit, but not a $40 gauge. lol

thanks for the replies.

yea its pretty sad, no b/c, no intercooler, no boost gauge. but its a $37,000 car with a $5000 turbo kit.

I will ask about the vacuum lines when i see him later on today.

First thing I bought when peicing my kit was the damn gauge. No gauge is asking for trouble. Poor 350z w/shoddy owner
