Default Boost problems with teg

Hi Guy's need some advice on boost problems on my turbo build.
Right were to start,i build a turbo teg with a GT35r turbo with a Tial 38mm waste gate.I had to do run in miles on the engine cause it was completely built. After i done the run in miles i went to get it mapped an came across there was a boost problem. The waste gate had been opening but now its not.My tunning company said it was the turbo, but i got it check an its in perfect condition.Im running a Greddy boost controler an it is working ok.I done a vacum test on the waste gate an on the top of the waste gate it was holding boost but the middle vacum pipe wasnt, should this be holding boost to..Please i need help quick.Cheers

Friend you'll probably get a quicker response if this was posted in the forced induction forum.

Yeah, there is probably only 3-4 people in this forum that could maybe help. Try the FI forum.

I'm not sure about your setup but I've got a TIAL gate that has two fittings on it. I ran one line from the intake manifold to a MAC solenoid. There is a tee fitting on the main line before the solenoid that connects to the wastegate. Really not that much to it. If you hook it up backwards then the wastegate won't open and it should hit boost cut.

I'm not sure if Greddy solenoids fail open (like the GM solenoids) or closed. You might try bypassing it and run just the wastegate spring until you sort things out.

Have you tried to spin the compressor wheel? I killed a GT3076R not long ago. It boosted on the way to work and then wouldn't on the way home. Pulled the intake to find that the compressor wheel was seized. Had to replace the CHRA.

Sounds like you have a boost leak somewhere. Check your couplers, piping, turbo manifold, etc for any leaks.
