boost leak?
ok so I finally got my greddy kit installed on the d16z6
went for a test run and notcied 2 things well 3 lol
1. small oil leak from the outlet of the turbo somewhere either that or the line is leaky somehow(brand new)
2. a slight sucking noise coming from the boost gauge
guess I need to get a better coupler or somethign it seemed very tight to me
3. it will only build at most 1 psi
WOT ill hear the turbo spool up around 3500 and at most see 1psi
Ive had boost leak before tho with charge pipes and the bov didnt blow the bov has a distinct POOSH to it
iu dunno what all is goin on just need to sit down and check some things
any idea where to start?

recheck all the vacuum lines and couplers, also check all the gaskets and fix the boost gauge and go from there, what boost controller are you using and what wastegate and spring?

the sucking noise from the gauge could be a vacuum leak, this could also cause why you arent building boost.
for the oil line.. did you teflon it?
Recheck to make sure its really tight..I had the same problem.
I just got my greddy kit installed and tuned as well

well I removed the boost gauge and the line was still hooked up and it was tight so I zip tied it and its tight but I still hear some kinda noise I tihnk im gonna replace the whole line its leaking somewhere
there is a small vacuum form the turbo that goes to the wastegate I removed the vacuum all together thinking maybe could just see if it would build boost and with no wastegate I still get 1 psi lol
IM gonna have to take it to a pro
