Boost Creep Issues with a Turbo xs DS MBC? Help!
Ok well heres some background. I have a stock gsr with a lovefab manifold, t3/t4 garrett, tial 38mm WG with a 7.5 psi spring, and i just installed a Turbo Xs Dual stage MBC.
Well without the boost controller the Boost was rock solid at 7.5 psi. Now i installed the controller and left the first stage all the way open so it is the lowest possible boost for the first stage. I actually did that to the second satge also.
I wanted to test everything b4 i upped the boost so now when im boosting its at about 8 psi but heres the problem:
when i get on the car hard and im shifting at redline, the boost creeps over 10 psi and my hondata (has a boost cutoff at 10psi) kills my ignition because im over 10 psi.
anyone have problems like this with a similar setup and can help me in any way?
