Re: which boost controller would u get (flip1199)
Ive been reading up on the different boost controllers lately and i really like the turbosmart controller. I pm'd a few guys on the board and they gave very good feedback . We run the Innovative MSBC-1 on Gitwidit's car and it works great. The Innovative controller gives boost per gear via clutch switch... and its very easy to use. We were able to use a .5 bar spring and run 34 lbs on c16.

I hate these $^^@#&*($&$ polls why are u basing your purchase on a poll instead of hard facts on the product??

i didn't vote but i'll explain what i know.. greddy seems similar to Blitz Dual SBC, i wonder if its made by greddy of blitz made it for them. Heres 2 important feature turbosmart lacks:
#1. its in odd shape, no ***** and nothing sticking out may be more difficult to adjust while driving, its a good shape for a gauge, but not boost controller (my opinion)
#2. blitz has boost limiter, greddy says it has one too. never used it but if it functions same way then its very useful
feature i'd like to have in my controller would be speed/rpm based boost control. avc-r offers it but #2 feature came in useful more than a few times, when my wastegate diaphragm ripped.

Most of the fuel systems available have a boost cut option which would solve the issue previously mentioned. As far as speed/ gear control that would be a great feature and would be possible to achieve with hondata/ neptune ect. using a programmable output.

No, but you can set it to turn on a second stage of boost via hondata nitrous controls at a certain speed/ load/ rpm or however you want to do it.
Neptune has 4 outputs that you could use.

nice.. good to know hondata has it.. but i'd rather have that via boost controller where i can make changes without taking out and reburning chips

As long as you can determine the speeds at which you want the next stage of boost you shouldnt have to make very many changes to the ROM> At that point you could just make adjustments to your boost controller to get the best boost level.

Re: (XX Boosted Si XX)
The Blitz boost controller combined with their speed/rpm monitor will fit in a single din opening, side by side. It also allows you to change boost based on speed. I would also suggest a manual boost controller like a Hallman. Or a dual stage manual boost controller, like the one from Turbo XS.

The Blitz SBC ID used with the Blitz power meter will give you the speed based boost option. For manual I like the turbo smart mbc. If I had to pick one above. The turbo smart e-boost looks like a good option...
