blox b on boost.
My car is breaking up like crazy right at the vtec crossover and wont go away up higher in the rpm's either. it goes away if we disengage vtec. what is everyone setting there cam gears to and y would it do this. My boy has been trying to get them to work for me but cant firgure them out. my car is on e85 also. compression is 9.5 to 1. turbo is a hx35 7 blade. its a track car not a street car. If i swith back to stock gsr it goes through vtec fine. lmk thanks.
BTW. I seen tons of peple running these cams making big power without any problems just not me.

Why are you using such a small turbo for such a cam like this.. Those (or similar) need to be reserved for larger turbochargers over 61lbs/min. Using those on such a small unit wouldn't help you with power anyway. We don't "set these up" like they're some sort of NA car because of the fact that it is forced induction, which changes the equation exponentially.
I know I'm not being the most helpful directly with your question of cam gears, but really, its best to stay with your GS-Rs for this turbocharger. Use the Blox for something else.

Re: blox b on boost.
Could it be valve springs causing float? Just curious as im experiencing similar issues with break up/surging after vtec engagement with my F20B blue top turbo. Sweet off vtec, break up on vtec, no det anywhere,11.8 afr. Im running 9.5:1 comp top mount and GT35 turbo

Re: blox b on boost.
i had a car kick my butt on the dyno years ago with a similar problem (however it had stock cams in it)...i spent a lot of time trying to figure it out, eventually got so frustrated i just pulled the head to take a look. turned out the car had a bunch of bent valves. ran perfectly as a NA car, discovered this after we put the turbo kit on and it just would not work with vtec. put some new valves in it and its still running to this day.
i have also seen people have their low cam / high cam fuel tables so far off that as soon as the car gets into the high cam map it goes so lean or so rich so quick that it never registers on the wideband before it starts turning into a bucking bronco.
post up some logs

Set vtec far lower and set boost as low as you can go. Then tune upwards with PSI, then do the same except with vtec set very high. Finally set x-over and fine-tune that spot if needed.
If that's not it, it could be floating valves. Anything bigger than ITR cams do not like stock valve springs.
