i had the same problem, bead rolled ends with t-bolt clamps, it gets old real fast. try the things mentioned, actually the spray glue helped quite a bit for me but...sooner or later you will just end up going v-bands or some similar alternative.

Re: Blowing Charge Pipes!!!!!
Geez, I'm running 30lbs on a BW366 and I'm using WORM clamps on some of my connections with no problems. Are you sure that the clamp is on the other side of the bevel? Maybe the clamp is crossing over the ridge when you tighten it down.

Re: Blowing Charge Pipes!!!!!
If the two pipes are joining at an angle with just a straight connector they probably will blow apart, if you have a flex coupling in there you need to tighten it harder and use some glue, I held 20+psi fine with crooked piping, no beads etc just t-bolts......

one other thing that i have seen from others is they tighten the t-bolt so tight that it dents the aluminum and then you loose your "bite" on the coupler.

when the pipes blow off, do they usually have the t-clamps still on the couplers? do they slide from under the t-clamps? you may need a new quality set of couplers and clamps or widen the beaded endings on the piping a bit more, theres a week link somewhere, ive seen couplers burst before then slide off.

Re: Blowing Charge Pipes!!!!!
I use just normal 4ply silicone couplers and T bolts.. and I bead rolled the aluminum myself. 32lbs and NEVER blown a coupler ever. I think engine movement has a lot to do with it as well. I have solid mounts.
