Data logging??
I finally found my usb data logging cable for my ecu after its been lost for about 2 years or so in my garage, so obviously I havent thought about software for a long time now...
Wanted to know what software is recomended now a days for logging?? It is a p71 ecu, tuned on Neptune.
Thanks!

I had the car tuned about a little over a year ago?
It's free. You have a couple options.
If it was after March 2008 that you were tuned you can use the RTP software (http://www.hrtuning.com/software) and have all of the datalogging capabilities of what an RTP has (Live graphing, gauges, access to all data points, map tracing if you have your calibration). There's a setting to datalog directly from the ECU in preferences under ports.
If it was before then... You have two choices:
You can get the old logging software at http://www.hrtuning.com/logger, which is a very simple interface and not too fast.
Or you can get a TunerView and hook it up to the ECU. You then get to see your data on the LCD in real-time. This will also allow you to use the newer RTP software to log through the TunerView with all of the datalogging features of the RTP software. You connect to the TunerView with the RTP software and it gives you access to all data points supported by the version you were tuned with.

Hey, if you dont mind im going to bother you with one last question.
Where do I get the drivers fro the Moates HondaLog ( http://www.moates.net/product_info.p...products_id=79 ) ?
I check the website and there are no drivers. I dont remember needing drivers before, but when i plugged just the cable into into my usb port, without connecting the other end to the ecu, windows "found new hardware" poped up and asking for drivers??
Thanks!

Might not be any help, but I know for s300 you had to just turn on the ignition and it would find the drivers..If you turned the car on or plugged it in for the first time when the car was on it would not find drivers properly.
It might not be the same for the moates so if it dont work like im saying dont sweat it.
