intercooler piping problem!!!!

Default intercooler piping problem!!!!

i had to modify my charge my cutting about 2 inches off, but know its very difficult to get my pipe to stay in the coupler. Anyone have any suggestions???

Could you be a little more specific is it hard to keep it in the coupler cause its to short?

its a lil short, but the indention (ring that the coupler goes over) on the end is obviously gone. what can i do to make sure the pipe stays on???

Get another piece of pipe and extend it somewhere along the routing.

..or just have a bead weld put around the end of the pipe after you cut it to the correct length.

ive never needed a bead of weld, and i never have used anything else to hold mine on...

just getting the good couplers and the really good T-clamps is all you need.... i never EVER blew one of them off..

bend the end of the pipe in 3 or 4 spots with pliers...makes it grab on to the coupler really well. Sure i know that may sound ghetto...but it will work if nothing else!

Or just call up fabrication shops and see if anybody has a bead roller. Have a new bead rolled on the pipe. It only takes about two minutes for a shop to do........so it should not cost very much.

t bolt clamps for the win if theys till dont hold bend a lil of the lip up on the pipping
