if its a knock off RS i can tell you this much, my REAL rs dosent even work so i dont expect a knock off rs to work...

however you can try loosening the bov, just dont loosen it to the point it wont hold boost, your gonna have to make some adjustments, make a pass with your eye on the boost gauge and repeat until you get the desired results. taking the inner spring out may also cure your issue, it didnt help me but it does help some people.

I had use a knock off greddy rs bov before. I can tell you that you will need to open it up and take either the inner or outter spring out. If you don't do this you'll most likely have compressor surge. Heck, even the real greddy RS bov I had to take one of the spring out too otherwise I'll have compressor surge too.

If you are looking to use the same flange than the greddy type s is a good bov. I like it alot but sadly sold it a few years back. Otherwise a HKS or Tial.
