i have a turbonetics t3t4 turbo running about 6 pounds, what would be the best adjustment for my bov to get the best results and the loudest whistle?

you want the bov to be tight enough not to leak but not too tight as to create compressor surge. sound is really irrelevant. every setup is different so there isnt any exact setting. for 6psi you can probably leave it fairly loose

this^^ kinda. the spring doesnt have anything to do with leaking under boost. you have to play it by ear

how do you figure? boost is putting force on the valve, the spring holds the valve closed.

it stays closed mostly by boost ( spring does play a small part) spring holds it closed in vacuum
