Default Block Guards

My head gasket is shot. I figured since it's going turbo anyways, I'll have the head off, what kind of block guard should I get? I'm going to just run with an O.E. head gasket. I honestly don't plan on boosting any higher than 10 psi on a t3/t04b.

the nuformz is a pretty good block guard, a block guard is nothing like sleeves but it does help a little. be careful when on the install because it is very easy to warp the sleeve. like i said the nuformz is good, it has a god amount of holes in it for cooling however many of then are nearly the same.

Go with either the nuformez, golden eagle or race engineering. When you install the block guard make sure it drops into place. DO NOT hammer the block guard in if it doesnt fit. Take a dremel with a sanding bit and sand down the block guard till it drops into place. 99% of the reasoning that people experience overheating with blockguards is due to user installation error.
