Default Best stock motor for boost

im on my 3rd honda. all of them have been all motor, single cam. gsr, and b16. im about to start my 4th honda and im fiending boost. wondering what motor is best for boost in its stock form. i will get apr head studs and maybe a block guard but thats about it. ive read alot bout b20s running 10psi everyday and making close to 300hp but then i hear they have weak sleeves. i would like to have vtec to but im thinking a stock gsr would have to high of a compression to boost. im most likely gunna run something the size of a t3/t4 or a holset H1C.
can anyone gimme some info or opinions or experiences?

My recommendation would be a gsr. theres plenty of stock ones on this forum making 300hp+. The biggest factor will be your tune. I'd recommend the gsr over the b16 because its displacement, over an ls or b20 because vtec and over a b18c5 because its less expensive. pm Schister66 he had a reliable gsr pushing 300hp+.

why dont you jsut do a b20 vtec then. thats what im doing and am bout to through a 57 trim t4 on it but im only gonna push like 8 psi not 10. but the b20 does have week sleeves but that only matters if your pushing more than 10 usually. ill through you some numbers once i get my oil lines in.

A stock GSR i think would be the best choice for the money. They have a reasonable compression ratio without being too high, they have more displacement than the D16 or B16 meaning they'll spool a turbo faster, and its a strong engine overall. I pushed 315whp out of my stock GSR for 2 years on 91 octane without issue.
