just an update:

ic piping is getting shipped out this week along with my modded compressor housing, (elbow welded on)

all that remains is ems.

today i got the car driving on the street. mounted the boost solenoid in its location and did a battery relocation and picked upa cheap battery for now so i can do some wiring and just start the car. i have a braille in mind for the final battery. i had some trouble getting all the air out of the heater core so i had to jack the front end up and use both bleeders at some points. otherwise a good solid day of work on a car, on my day off, from working on cars.

i will post pics as soon as i get ic piping installed and ready.

what are you using for ems?
a company called deka makes the braille battery and sells the deka for a fraction of the cost like 160 for the braille compared to the deka which sells for 59 dollars and is identical in everyway, weight cca's size, and weight

a lot of the VW guys have went this route and i've never seen anything bad about them

just trying to save you some money even though your obviously a baller but hell 115 buck is 115 bucks and if you can save it and get the exact same thing then why not when the only difference is the name

i know you used to be or still are dub guy so check out the info on this battery here http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2353060

just trying to help good luck with the rest of your project im sure it will turn out as well as you VW did

Lol yeah I have never owned a vw lol or built one. Maybe confusing me with someone else? But thanks a lot about that battery information. My team leader at work has a braille that he paid 160 for so I'm sure its the same one! Very informative

UPDATE: 03/01/09

- Getting ready to go down to the garage and install those 1000's and wire up the clips.

- Incoming parts mon-thur (approx)

* AEM EMS 1052
* 3" V-Band Flange with 02 bung (to be welded to exhaust and clamped to downpipe)
* The damn power harness for the wideband gauge that i lost
* PFab Intercooler Piping
* Modded Compressor housing that i sent away to get elbow welded on.

- To DO list

setup dyno date at Innovative Motorworks w/ John Kerr

Install clutch at the shithole i work at
wire power and ground to the w/b gauge
and wire to d16 for boost solenoid on aem ftmfw

and btw, i am by far, NOT the brokest s2k owner on this board.

some people have responsibilites and dont live with their parents @ 21. :-)

update:
03/03/09

-Installed aem ems last night, wired and pined the D connector for boost solenoid

- wired up aem wideband gauge..

- set o2 gain and throttle range and scaled injectors.

- i have yet to start the car with aem because i do not have an o2 bung to to install the wb02 in. still waiting on that.

intercooler piping and compressor housing comes tomorrow.w00t..

picked up some more pneumatic fittings for my boost signal line to run to the boost controller.

another thing i did late sunday night was relocate my fuse box inside the car under the dash. much cleaner and no worries about heat from the turbo melting the fuse box.. w00t..

ill have some pics to show you tonight.
