Default Basemap Question.

I have everything to finally put my turbo setup in. (been 2 years now). Here's the kicker. My spring break is next week and I am heading home to Jax, FL from TN and I have a friend who is going to tune my stuff for me. I have all my tools here and was wondering if it would be safe for me to drive down on a basemap (700 miles/11hrs) I have a wideband to check AFR's. It's just easier for me to do the work here because of my tools and access to a shop.

Thanks for the help.

u can either make a break in the charge piping and run stock injectors and ecu for temp. taking it easy on the way there obviously. or just get a Tow dolly from Uhaul, u wouldnt wanna risk blowing a 2 year project.

I drove my car well over 150 miles to the annual crx meet with stock injectors and stock ecu before returning home to install my 780cc injectors and tune the car.

As long as you stay out of boost and the a/f is ok you could drive the car around as much as you wish.

I drove around for about a month with stock MAP and Injectors with my turbosetup until I got tuned. Just stay out of boost.

Well...I went down and installed it all and it ran fine on on the basemap from Xeno. I never could get the tuner to come through so I drove back on the basemap. Ran great. Gonna try to get it tuned ASAP.
