Default B20B

Hey im stuck between the b20b turbo with an ls head idea, or the crvtec turbo idea. So what I wanna know is, is it worth all the trouble adding a vtec head? Or would it just be alot easier to build up the block and the ls head for turbo, and boosting the hell out of it? Either way there both gunna be built up, so i just need some advice, my friends going to have an ls/vtec turbo, and I dunno if he will have more power than i will so i need some opinions, thanx.

The vtec is definitly worth it in my opinion. U should get more hp out of a built vtec head, then out of a built non-vtec head for sure. My .02 cents

i'd build the block, then slap a vtec head on, vtec head flow way better
all depends how much hp u looking to get right?

as far as block choice.. I'd consider using a B18a/b block for the sole reason of better sleeves.. the B20 cylinder walls are not as strong as the B18a/b, but you do get the extra .2 liters. basically if you are planing on build the block it really doesnt matter, If i were in your situation I'd get the B20 and resleeve it with a vtec head, but if not ls/vtec turbo im definatly not trying to persuade you in either direction, just make sure you do quite a bit of research so you dont have to kick yourself in the butt later... haha whatever you do have fun with it!! either way you'll kill a V8
