Default b20 sleeves, with proper tuning ?'s

did a search but didn't really find exact answers. given standalone and good tuning how much hp can the stock sleeves of a b20 hold? keep in mind daily driver and occasional track use. i just keep reading over and over about how the sleeves are weak. i just cracked the hell out of my gsr motor's sleeves so i'm not looking to go through that again.

granted i know even with good tuning, as in the case of my gsr, you never know what'll happen with a motor. but on average what have you guys seen in person [please no 'well my brother's cousin's friend ran 400hp].

I have heard around 240whp. Do yourself a favor and have it resleeved with GE, dart or something stronger than the stock sleeves.

Honda blocks aren't made to withstand boost.

Honda Blocks arent made to withstand boost. But they can. St00pids LS motor pumped out somewhere in the area or 400hp (or more cant remeber exactly) on stock internals. Its all about the tunning. I wouldnt recomend more then 11psi on the stock sleeves, although I have seen people run in upwards of 14psi with a properly installed blockguard.... Fuel management plays a huge part as well as tunning.

If you dont believe me about st00pids car, IM him and ask him. SN is st00pid .

Just my .02 cents...

How many lbs did you want to run?

11-12lbs has the potential to make a B20 (no tec) run 11s. Newmans Civic ran 11s @ 11 psi with the drag kit for a teg. Although he had suspension and tires and can drive...

i guess i should put my goals in terms of qtr mile times instead of hp...so i'm aiming for low 13's...12's. its not really too much to ask out of a b series turbo

lookin to run 7-9 psi
