B18C1 Knocking.. time to build it up!
I am new in the Honda tuning business and I need advice. Two days ago I started my 95 civic and after a couple of minutes I heard a knocking sound, it looks like the head gasket wore out and the oil mixed with the water anyways I was thinking on building up the engine (b18c1) and probably installing a turbo kit, the car is a daily driven so I need A/C (I’m located in New Mexico and it gets pretty hot down here) and also PS.
My hp goal is around 270-350 hp. I was wondering what modifications do I have to make to the bottom end and the head?
I was thinking of Cp pistons, eagle rods, valves, retainers and springs, ARP studs, rebalance crankshaft, bearings etc any suggestions on this??
Also I do not know what turbo kit to buy for my set up Turbonetics, Garrett any help would be appreciated thanks.

rods, pistons, injectors, all the basics, a decent EMS, and 57 trim .63 ar, with a good tuner should net you that HP goal easily!
Just know that this is going to be a big investment. If i would have known how the world was going to pan out before i built my engine (to fix a little knock that could have been fixed with new rod bearings) i would have simply replaced the bearings and run stock. I had stupid issues with my car and all told, it was out of commission for a year and cost me about $4500 after every stupid little thing.
If i could do it all over again, i would have boosted the crap out of the stock block on E85 and enjoyed it...just a counterpoint

Thank you guys, I am going to pull the motor apart next week and check the block and everything else. I was thinking in putting in new pistons, rings, bearings etc because i know i am going to have to open the engine anyways, and then i want to boost it.
