B18c1 build-up for turbo questions!!
well, i searched for 2 hours last night. and i couldn't get enough info on it!!
then i asked in the "all motor" section! the peeps in there had told me that i can't get around 300hp with out going turbo!!!
so now i'm asking over here!
i want to build my B18c1 up for high boost! anyone know what parts i'm going to need to do the build-up? and a respected shop that isn't overly expensive to do the work? any info would be great!
thanks

Re: B18c1 build-up for turbo questions!! (1SIKCRX)
Pistons: JE, Wiseco, CP, Ross (I prefer Ross, and Wiseco)
Rods: Eagle, Crower, Manley (I like Eagle and they make new rods w/3/8 bolts now
ReSleeved: Golden Eagle, Darton, AEBS (I think Golden Eagle all the way)
Good set of ARP head studs, and Main Studs
If you are doing a complete build I would replace every gasket, o-ring on the motor so it is fresh
Also new Rod bearings
As for shops I dont really know I do all the work myself.

that's a 1500$-2500$ setup... good luck! w/out the resleeving...
just do the job yourself if you can. but make sure you have some meassurement tools. and just have the block/crank clean and balanced by a shop!
