What sort of hp are people seeing with stock sleeves before they crack? If you are running 84mm sleeves would it not be better to use a b18, I only ask these questions as I am about to buy a honda motor to fit the fron tof my renault.

probably not. Renegade Raceway is 10 minutes from me, so I race there mostly and opening day is March 27th.. 4 1/2 hours to Woodburn, but I am going to try to make a couple.

The sleeve you are referring to that is 84mm is the B20 (correct me if I am wrong) and they are already thin. You can get your motor sleeved (golden eagle, Benson, etc.) and bored to 84mm if you want.

Cool little project. I've seen that design before on a valve cover.

I can't wait to get back into boost.

can some 1 please mail me to help me.I wanna turbo my civic but i need to know the costs involved.theres waay too much info on the net.I know il need forged pistons but i dont understand about rods and the bore sizes etc etc.

i want around 300bhp (max) but with reliabilty, im not fussed about the turbo kits but its the engine build thats putting me off.

theres so many options but turbos the 1 that has the best bhp gains but reliability is a major concern for me.i cant be asked with a motor that doesnt run right.

i figure do it right from the beginning but theres soo much damn things available.

the engine build alone...what would it cost?...forged/uprated bottom end...im asusming the head can be left stock for upto 300bhp?

instead of searching for pictures, try reading. IF you can scroll a few post up you can see 400+whp on stock bottom end. you dont need to build anything for 300whp.

lol i have been searching.some guys have built bottom ends that go bang with less bhp than guys w stock internals and more bhp.

i spend alot of my time reading up on things.but like i said, peoples opinions some times get mixed in with facts and its too easy to get confused.im going to go with a turbo set up and hopefully my stock internals will do me fine for around 260-280 bhp and as a daily driver.

im gonna either go for a greddy kit, edelbrock if i save up abit more money..or maybe a custom with 1 parts from spoolin performance..i like some of there stuff....im thinkin get a cheap ebay turbo kit, and buy a package deal for the turbo itself and manifold? and use the rest of the parts from the cheap ebay kit?
