I've got a set of GSR cams for sale if you need them. I've always heard that they worked better for boost then the stock cams.

that depends on the manifold/turbo setup.
if you have a log manifold or a really small turbine wheel/housing then gsr cams are you best bet. if you have a big turbine and a nice tubular manifold then ctr or itr cams will work best. (ctr and itr are so close unless you get OLD itr cams that it dosnt really matter that much)

Re: b16a or gsr cams for boost? (BoostedEG6)
here are the specs for the two (B18C and B17) incase anyone is wondering. And also to the OP if the B16A cams you have are 1st Gen then they are the same as a 94+ GSR
Intake opening (BTDC) = 10
Intake closing (ABDC) = 40
Intake duration = 230
Exhaust opening (BBDC) = 40
Exhaust closing (ATDC) = 7
Exhaust duration = 227
Overlap = 17
Intake valve lift (mm) = 10.6 (.417")
Exhaust valve lift (mm) = 9.4 (.370")

For starters get a different turbo ASAP if 450 WHP at 20 psi is your goal. SC61 is a 600-630 WHP turbo and will probably make closer to 500 WHP at 20 psi. get a smaller turbo, it'll have better response and drive better.
Two, the 1st gen B16A cams are the smallest of all VTEC cams and will make the least amount of power compared to all other VTEC cams. It is a very worthwhile upgrade to pickup some GSR or (even better) ITR cams.

Re: (slowteg90)
If I were you I would just go with the GSR's. it will save you the worry. I have a set of 1 gen B16 cams at my house along with a set of GSR's.... when I get back I will mic them and see what it comes out as. I have found many things showing that the GSR and 1 gen B16's are the same as far as lift/duration. But I am also talking about the B16 out of a 89-91

Re: (BoostedEG6)
I switched for b16 to GSR's in my turbo setup. It was night and day. Gsr were way better. But I have heard theat b16b's(CTR) cams are the best for boost. Now before anybody jumps me that is what I heard and is in no way my opinon due to not being tested by myself.
But def GSR!!!
