b16 turbo problems

Default b16 turbo problems

ok im having some problems getting my car running and setting the timing...first ill tell you wants done to it

95 civic

b16 jge sleeved, crower rods, airas 8.4:1 83mm pistons, turbonectic t3t4 60 trim, log manifold, rc sl4 440 injectors stock head just a little port and polish

not I had stock injectors in it and it ran fine, NOW that I put those injectors in I can't get it to even star and keeps fowling out the plugs and after about 5-6 cranks it turns the plugs BLACK even if there brand new...

also does anyone know where I should set my timing degrees on the crank and cams on an setup like this
please help

well I have a chip that was made for iton crome to get me there but I need it to start now...do you know where I should put my timing marks like what degree

Unless that chip was made for a set up on 440 cc injectors you are now running you will continue to flow way too much fuel. If the chip was made for stock injectors you will need to put them back in, or get a new tune/chip...

take the charge pipe off the TB and put stock injectors in it and drive to your tuner
then re-install the big injectors.

the tune is made for them where should my cams and crank be when I time it?

on the crank there are 3 marks together and then one off by itself. set the crank to that mark (TDC). the cams should have up arrows pointing up and dots pointing at each other and the dizzy should be at cylinder #1.

if the car runs on stock injectors then most likely the timing is fine though. as others mentioned you need to get tuned.

not when setting the cam timing. the crank and cams need to be at tdc. at that time the number 1 piston should be as high in the bore as possible and the dizzy pointing at #1. once you get the car started and warmed up you can set the ignition timing via timing light to 16* btdc by adjusting the dizzy
