Yep, I wanted something that was simple and black/white. Didn't want something too overpowering with lots of color since my bay and everything underneath is just clean black.

I went with the OG 84mm Golden Eagle/Honda Head Gasket, a few shops still have stock of these. The head gasket fit perfect on the motor without any issues so I am hoping it holds up, my last motor ran 5 years without an issue using those headgaskets, I also am using L19's this time.

Got a few things done, ran into a few issues with the two nitrous lines. Because I built all these off the motor two of the lines were hitting the water tube so I had to remake two of the lines. I also got the nitrous lines partially wired up now so I don't have to do it while the motor is in. I then realized after I got the motor in that the fuel pressure regulator was literally sitting on the nitrous solenoid and wiring so I had to relocate that to another area of the bay, everything is a tight freaking squeeze in there.

Now I have to finish making the radiator lines, nitrous fuel lines, and a ton of other stuff but at least I am making some progress.

Just about there, there is so much room not having the radiator, fan and hoses up front, I love it.

That’s what is good about the 96-00 Civic compared to the 92-95 Civic. I think there is more space to work with on the 96-00 Civic

Right now my main focus is getting the car running and then tuned, once I get to that point I really need to get it out for some testing before I think of any events. I'm not even sure what events even exist anymore since Covid, seems like the only thing going on was track rentals but now I guess Friday night drags are back and going again.

I've heard rumors that they are going to shut down Wild Horse Pass for good leaving us only Tucson.
