AVC-R Crapping on me !!!!!!

AVC-R Crapping on me !!!!!!
Can someone maybe tell me whats wrong...
On WOT, the unit shuts on/off, making the boost go to base (which is 5 psi) and then to what i set it at 12 psi.
Other than that the car runs great, even when its doing that.
Things i checked:
1. AVCR Wiring
2. Every ground on the vehicle (you get the idea)
3. Even the Vacuum hoses were changed.
Anyone have the same thing happen to them?
Its more than likely electrical problem, its not mechanical at all. Has the AVCR that i bought no longer than 6 months ago took a crap?
Tommorrow im going to bypass the AVCR solinoid and connect a manual boost controller to it. But in the meanwhile your opinions are greatly appreciated.

Cdoo, yes its correct.. I have been running the AVCR for over a couple months now.
I went to the dyno this mourning to tune it for 16 psi and then it crapped on me....
