missing link is not needed with Hondata or AEM EMS, most of the time missing links are used with FMU setups.

Can't give an accurate response with only that much info. I wouldn't imagine you'll get 300whp "safely" from that setup on a stock b or d block.

i have seen it done to a b16.

but it has rods and pistons in it too.

if you use vafc hack, u might as well keep the fmu and missing so it would be easier to tune. or that what i heard.

ya, i have a buddy with LS + rev hard kit with FMU, vafc, missing link and it dont run worth a dam when it hits boost. When it hits boost its like the rev limiter kicks in and the motor bogs. - any thoughts?

Geez...

OK - there are usualy 3 (most common) ways to boost honda:

1: FMU + missing link
2: AFC hack + larger injectors
3: standalone + larger injectors

Note that number 2 and 3 don't need missing link - actually, using missing link will just f*ck up everything!
Missing link prevents ECU from getting a CEL due to ECU reading boost.
If using AFC hack and alrger injectors, AFC already lowers MAP input into ECU - sto there is no CEL. If you use missing link with AFC, you'll f*ck up signals under boost, and yr car will run like ****.
It's all been on every board so many times.. please people - read!!!
I was just reading thru many boards for months and months before I went turbo...

not only that but if you run an fmu AND hack you'll end up with 2 things trying to control your fuel at the same time lol.

first the hack will be pushing the injectors up in duty cycle and THEN the fmu will be raising fuel rail pressure on top of that.

I can only imagine the fucked up spray pattern of those poor injectors under that kind of load....
