Re: (adSPEED)
Friend has two on his TT 300zx and they just sound like big gushes of air. I like my Type-S a lot better, it sounds like a whip almost.
HKS SSQV is the best.

Re: (Chunty Butt Kevin)
I have the Turbo XS RFL... it's okay, I bought it because I got a good deal on it and it was much cheaper than many of the other BOVs out there. Plus, I'm only running 1/2 bar so it's not that loud. I guess it's loud but my open dumptube is so loud that the BOV sounds quiet. LoL...
I don't like the Greddy sound but I do really like the way the Tial and HKS blow off valves sound.
I just didn't want to pay extra money for a cool sounding BOV when I could get a pretty good quality RFL for much cheaper.

The BOV dumps immediately to the atmosphere. It's loud and pretty annoying. I'm switching to a tial cuz it completely got on my nerves. I was told you can adjust the screw on top to make it less but I still think it's just too loud for my taste. It sure screams ricer though.

Ummm... there is no screw on the top of a RFL. LoL.
I agree though, Tial kicks ***, but it's soo expensive, I have a hard time spending an extra $100 just for the sound.

Are you sure there's no screw? I thought there was something on top that said hard on one end and soft on the other with arrows. I assumed you could adjust it. I could be wrong.

Re: (Pikachu)
I always though the Type S was louder, well maybe more high pitched I guess. The RFl is like a loud *** whooosh. Personally i think the HKS is kick ***. loud *** hell and ear piercing.

I personnally love the sound of the RFL, the Greddy gets on my nerves with all the high pitched squeaky sounds. At 12psi the rfl just has a real quick whipping sound, it doesnt drag on like greddy and others, just a real quick "whip" and thats it.
