Anyone have pics of ramhorn w/ 4" DP???
Decided to stick with a ramhorn setup instead of jumping on the top mount bandwagon, but I am curious to see how people have done 4" downpipes with the ramhorn style manifolds. I know its been done, but never really taken the time to look at how...
I would prefer to see EG Civics just about anything will work for ideas...

Re: (I.C.C.)
I tried it when making my 3" DP in my DC, we cut my pasenger headlight a little and moved the radiator all the way as far as it would go to the passenger side, it would physically fit but the issue was getting 2 of the lower bolts into the exhaust housing, we had to make such a sharp angle off the turbo to avoid the radiator and the slave cylinder there just was no way of geting the bolts into the housing, so we scrapped it and went 3". One easy way to do it would be just run 3" off the turbo and down past the slave cylinder and then increase it to 4", which is what I plan to do this winter if I keep my manifold/turbo setup.

Yes that helps, but doesnt the V-Band push the flange out further away from the turbo? All the Garrett ones I have seen stick out a good inch or so from the side of the housing, which only makes space issues worse.

Re: Anyone have pics of ramhorn w/ 4" DP??? (I.C.C.)
I have a ef hb with a gt 35 and a 4" downpipe.. I made everything custom myself.. The manifold is an early full-race one.. I modified a eg PWR radiator and welded the lower mounting points for the radiator in front of the traction bar.
I only have a pic when it is on the engine dyno and one of the downpipe it self.
The car is about to get rady for paint so it is striped clean right now.

Re: (I.C.C.)
Is that just me or was that car on an engine dyno? I bet it would be easy to fit a 4" DP in there without a tranny in the car, I would like to see that DP clear the slave cylinder.

If you happen to come across any pics I would love to see them... My biggest fear was clearing the slave cyl. and trying to not have the DP resting right on the radiator... Once the motor is fully assembled and back in the car so I can mock everything up Im sure I will get a better idea of how to do it, but I was already fairly certain I would need a pretty tight bend...
Does anyone make 4" donuts or am I stuck pie-cutting my *** off???

http://www.atpturbo.com has 4" stainless 90* bends that have a 4" radius. this is what i used for my downpipe. reasonably priced also.

Re: (I.C.C.)
actually the one that i used was also from atpturbo, its only about 2-2.5" long, cant remember off the top of my head, but i do remember you can take about .5" off of it also and still be at 4" od
