It's a build 18c boosted project.Ok so I'm running out of funds. Heres my question.
I'm just planing on just boosting of the waste gate spring.I want atleast 14 lb so will I have to changed out the spring I have now because the box that it came in said 8.9 lb.
And at 14lb would I need a 3 bar map?My plane is just to run it like that as of now untill I have more funds. thanks

 

yes you would. what are you using to provide the extra fuel?

 

11psi is the breaking point on the map sensor, you will have to upgrade if boosting more.

 

You could just get one of the ball and spring regulators out of Mcmaster Carr and make your own boost controller and use the wasgate spring you have. That way you could get it up to the limits of the stock map sensor till you get a 3 bar, then turn it up.
