I painted mine black. I haven't run w/ it it, but just from looking at it I can tell it can't possible hurt. It only covers the front.....all of the heat exhange takes place on the inside.

All you have to do is make sure you dont clog the thing up.

FlaconGsr has done a real good study on painting intercoolers with different colors. From when we first thought that painting was bad, but we found out that it isnt that bad to do. I'll let him respond to this since he can go into detail on this. Joe, where are you?...

Only 50 shot wet? Well thats very good. Cause i am looking for high 13's with my Integra RS. I'll be using a bigger shot so i guess 13's is possible.

ever have troubles with your kit or everything was fine? what did you upgrade with your 50 shot? Guess nothing, only spark plugs right....

basically go ahead and paint it. i would try to keep it to the face of the IC, not down inside. but, with most paints, the properties of the paint counteract the insulating properties of it.

Just make sure you use thermal conductive paint. Or paint with good thermal conductive properties.
