Another turbo Integra Gsr Misfire question/comment
I have a 00 Integra Gsr with a drag gen 3 turbo kit with all stock internals. It has 57k on it. The problem that I am having is that when the car is idling and I rev it up it will misfire all the way thru the power band. If I just let it idle at 750 it is fine. Currently I'm using a V-AFC 2 for engine management but I have a Hondata s300 on the way. When I drive the car it runs fine it's just when I rev it up sitting still it will misfire like crazy. I did a compression test and it came out 220-210-210-210, I've also tried changing the plug wires and plugs with no success. I'm only running 7 lbs of boost I have a Walbro fuel pump and have checked the fuel presssure and it is a constant 60 psi. Also, I'm still running stock injectors until I get the Hondata running but I don't think it's that. Sorry about this being so long but just trying to give you guys as much info as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i wont be the only person telling you this.
since the s300 is on the way, STAY OUT OF BOOST TILL YOU GET IT.
60 psi? when at boost or at idle? fmu? check valve in backwards?
you have too much goin on, please do yourself a favor, wait til you get the s300.

Re: Another turbo Integra Gsr Misfire question/comment (boostedcivicsir)
They fuel pressure gauge that I have is mounted on top the fuel filter so I don't know where I'm at under boost but at idle it's 60 psi which with the Walbro is normal. I have babied this car and stayed out of boost most of the time just so nothing gets screwed up! The check valve is not backwards. The turbo kit has been installed for 2 years now but I probably have less than 1000 miles on it. It's gareged and babied. Any other info would be greatly appreciated guys!

I'll second that.My Walbro idles at 43#'s with no issues.Just don't start it until you get the Hondata. What your doing now is not babying it.

60psi on stock injectors wtf???
i know you're exited with your new set up, but u should wait until the hondata comes + bigger injectors..

Re: Another turbo Integra Gsr Misfire question/comment (ONE*SICK*FERIO)
I talked with Dave at Drag Turbo and he pointed out that it might be the Fmu causig the fuel pressure to rise to 60 psi. So, I unhooked the fmu and hooked the fuel return line back into my stock fpr and it lowered it down around 40-42 psi at idle. Luckily he says that I can send the Fmu back ad he'll fix it for free!!!!

Then when he sends it back, sell it.

Ok guys so I took off the Fmu and returned the fuel return line to the stock Fpr. My fuel pressure dropped but it fluctuates between 42-48 constantly at idle. Any ideas???

If you want to get rid of the headaches, stop waiting for what you want to hear and listen to what everyone is saying.
